The R2D2 project came to a conclusion marking over 4 months of construction and over 1200 cans used. The final detailing to R2's body was finally completed today along with the hoses/wiring from R2's power cells to his feet. After completing this last final step, we assembled the newly completed soda can model R2D2 to see how he looked. The results were stunning to say the least! Take a look for yourself and remember where you saw him; Soda Can models, where our aim is to take modeling out of soda and beer cans to the next level. I think we did just that....
A special thank you goes out to my wife and children who put up with this madness over the past four months and who were numerous times knee deep in the construction, planning and implementation of the awe inspiring project.
